ORGANIC FARMING GROWS HEALTH IN LIBERIA

Provision of Hope’s Organic Agricultural Trainers have connected with passionate farmers who are eager to learn all they can about Growing Nutrition.  Trainers  Kelvin Taweh and Joseph Sackie are holding 5 day workshops teaching farmers how to Grow Health. Both these young men took their Organic Training in Kenya through Organics 4 Orphans.   This is a fantastic program.  Dale Bolton, founder of O4O, is our coach for Liberia.  Our goal is growing nutrition to improve poor diets, growing natural medicine and teaching whole communities how to generate income through their farms.

On our last trip to Liberia we had the privilege of visiting the farmers in Johnsonville and Kakata. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the video of our visit to the Johnsonville Farmers.  It was quite the adventure! Seeing their progress and passion convinced us that the seeds and tools we provide are definitely worth the investment!  The crops they raise can feed their families plus generate income.  Like our trainers say, ” Healthy Soil, Healthy Plants, Healthy People”
