Ministry

Mercy Ministry is outreach
to the very poor and destitute. This aspect of our ministry
covers a large range of people. Some days we are helping the
sick get to a hospital, other days we are transporting refugees
home and resettling them. This is what we are training our
boys to do. They are the ones fully responsible for our widows’
rice distribution. Other times you will find them visiting
the sick and singing in the hospitals.

Our Director, Aaron Paul says,
“Every day the needy are at our door”
It could be someone who had a house fire, someone with
a sick child or another who is going hungry. This country
may be at peace right now, but the unemployment is very
high. There are few paid jobs available. The needs can
be overwhelming. That is why we start with “the
one” and continue on from there. |
| We move people who are living in very poor
conditions into livable communities with better housing.
Here is a “before” and “after”
of Edward Tarketa and his grandma. We
helped Edward get into school and moved them from this
deplorable situation. The roof leaked every time it rained
and they had no mattresses. Their rice bag was empty.

These are photos of some of our Ministry Team
workers delivering basic supplies to Ma Demowa
after she lost everything in a house fire. By her side is
Bindu, her little grandchild who we have
since put into school. Bindu’s mother is blind and she
has no dad.

The boys also visit the hospitals to minister to the sick
and elderly. They learn to love with the Love of Christ and
reach out to those in need.
