Desperate for a Mattress

We have so many children and mothers who are desperate for mattresses!  I hope we can meet ALL of these needs. Lets start with Maybe Mulbah and one of our Children’s Homes.

Maybe Mulbah was on our Single Mother’s Empowerment Program in the Buduburam Refugee Camp in Ghana when I first met her in 2010.  Provision of Hope empowered Maybe to run a small business to help feed her children.  Maybe came to Ghana to escape from the civil wars in Liberia.  We thank God that she was able to resettle back home in Liberia, and though she does have a small business in Liberia, life as a single mother has been a struggle.  Take a look at the photos and see the condition of her mattress.  We are praying for 2 mattresses for her.  Dapae and Rita need 6 single mattresses.  Their mattresses are in bad condition.

We can get a good quality king size family mattress for $ 150 and a Single Mattress for $ 90. The better quality mattresses will last for a long time. We buy mattress covers for $ 10.

What a blessing to have these 4 new mattresses. WE hope to purchase 6 more, so that all the children have a new mattress before Christmas! What a blessing to have these 4 new mattresses. WE hope to purchase 6 more, so that all the children have a new mattress before Christmas!

Outreach to Bomi County

Daniel Coleman, our Director of Mercy Ministry, recently made a return visit to his birthplace in Bomi County, a place he cherishes and visits whenever he can. On each trip, he personally delivers used clothing, slippers, and rice to the community. They know him by name and are always happy when he visits. In the recent visit, Provision of Hope supported Daniel’s efforts with a small contribution, helping provide flip-flops and used clothing. He’s also brought some treats, such as popcorn,

LIBERIA NEEDS BIBLES

Nothing brings me more joy than giving out Bibles! I know what the Word of God does for me, and I want others to experience the same God encounters that I have experienced while reading my Bible. “The Bible is my source of strength. It is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 It gives me hope and comfort. I get to know God, His character, and His Ways. The Word of Godis alive.
