“Every Student’s Compass”

Provision of Hope believes in preparing our Graduates for the next step in life!

This week Daniel Coleman introduced us to Anthony Ntem who is the Liberian author of ” Every Student’s Compass”  “This is a simple guide to help students deal with low self-esteem, set academic goals, choose the right career and make a difference in society” Anthony came to visit Ma Esther’s Home and speak about his first chapter ” Self Esteem”  We plan to visit all our Children’s Homes with the topics in this book leaving copies with them.  We will also gift one to each of our grads.

In Ma Esther’s Home we have two graduates Marie Lewis and Theresa Quanah. Are they prepared for life after High School?  What are their interests?  What are their dreams?  What is possible for them in their world?

Every Student’s Compass teaches our values.   Have a look at all the topics!  Anthony Ntem is a Student Empowerment Coach.  He is a dedicated educator and mentor, empowering students to reach their full potential by building self confidence and esteem, developing effective reading and study habits, setting academic goals and guiding them towards a fulfilling career that positively impacts society.

After high school we are encouraging our students to take a trade school. This will give them a start to making their own income and living independently.  We encourage each one of our children to dream and to never give up on that dream.  With God all things are possible! Keep believing! Never let go of Hope!

Provision of Hope appreciates Anthony for taking his time to come to Ma Esther's Home and speak to our students. Thank you so much! Provision of Hope appreciates Anthony for taking his time to come to Ma Esther’s Home and speak to our students. Thank you so much!

Chapter 5 Be a Light is a great chapter! " In the 5th chapter of Matthew verse 14 it says, " You are the light of the world" That means you are the one to bring light to the darkness of this world. Darkness of this world includes rape, poverty, lack of innovation, hunger, illiteracy and war. Outreach to Bomi County

Daniel Coleman, our Director of Mercy Ministry, recently made a return visit to his birthplace in Bomi County, a place he cherishes and visits whenever he can. On each trip, he personally delivers used clothing, slippers, and rice to the community. They know him by name and are always happy when he visits. In the recent visit, Provision of Hope supported Daniel’s efforts with a small contribution, helping provide flip-flops and used clothing. He’s also brought some treats, such as popcorn,
