Widow is Desperate for Help!

Ma Jenneh Baryee is one of our widows who is really desperate for help.

Her daughter is currently at the JFK hospital diagnosed with stomach cancer. Ma Jenneh has been going around begging for money in order to get her daughter the prescribed drugs.

We assured Widow Jenneh that POH will help her

Ma Jenneh’s daughter, Margret with her sons!

Widow Jenneh’s daughter is struggling to provide for her two sons. James, who is 10 years old, could start Grade 2, and Champ, 11, is eligible for Grade 3. Both boys dream of attending school this year, but their grandmother has no funds to make it possible.

Boys sell plastic bags in the streets to help grandma with food

Boys selling plastic bags on the streets to help grandma pay bills.

The boys’ father has been absent for a long time, and they have no idea where in Liberia he might be. He never visits or calls. To support their grandmother, James and Champ sell black plastic bags on the streets and in marketplaces to help raise money for food and to cover their mother’s medication costs.

If anyone would like to give to the needs of this family, it would be so much appreciated.

LIBERIA NEEDS BIBLES

Nothing brings me more joy than giving out Bibles! I know what the Word of God does for me, and I want others to experience the same God encounters that I have experienced while reading my Bible. “The Bible is my source of strength. It is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 It gives me hope and comfort. I get to know God, His character, and His Ways. The Word of Godis alive.
