Another Success Story: Celebrating Janet Mulbah’s Graduation

Congratulations on your Graduation, Janet Mulbah! We are thrilled to celebrate the success of Janet Mulbah, who has officially completed her studies in Food & Nutrition/Cookery through the Maryann Cheeseman School of Home Economics and Cosmetology, set out by the Ministry of Education.  This is a remarkable achievement!  We are so proud of your efforts; you have done well!

First, you graduated from high school. Then, you went on to study Home Economics, where you learned the skill of baking.

Even while you were in trade school, you would carry your baked goods around communities selling your pastries, cakes, and meat pies.  You even borrowed an oven to do this.

You are ambitious and smart.  You know how to work hard and persevere.  You have faith in God and trust in His Provision.

Janet, along with her mother and siblings, has been in the Provision of Hope family since I first met them in the Buduburam refugee camp in 2010. The family was living in extreme poverty! Silas was very malnourished, and later came down with pneumonia and almost died.  Thank God, he was hospitalized and recieved proper treatment through Provision of Hope Ghana.

Janet knows what it’s like to struggle and go without food. It has not been easy for this family! Praise God, things are so different for them today!!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mitchell Elementary School for generously providing the funds for Janet to attend school and graduate from Grade 12.

What a blessing! Your support has made a lasting difference in her life.

Janet’s brothers, Silas and Philemon, are both in our scholarship program and are doing well in school. Mitchell Elementary School also sponsors Philemon, who is now in Grade 7. Silas, currently in Grade 9, is supported by sponsors through Provision of Hope.

Their mother, Maybe, works hard selling provisions to feed her family and pay their rent. She is a devoted mother who does all she can to provide for her children’s needs.
