This week, Daniel Coleman visited the Temas Orphanage, coming with Easter Eggs filled with candies, biscuits, rice, oatmeal, containers of powdered milk, etc. The children were jumping up and down with excitement at the thought of candies!! Daniel had to explain how it works to look for Easter Eggs. They had never done this before!! There is always a Golden Egg!! Inside the Golden Egg is 500 Liberian Dollars!! That is equal to $2.75 USD. Wow!! Who will be the lucky one??!!

This is Holy Week. A time to reflect on the incredible love that Jesus had for us in going to the cross to forgive us of our sins and bring us life in Him, through His Spirit. Thank God He rose again, and today, He is alive, walking and talking with us! “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”…. Words of Jesus in John 8:12.

Daniel prepared an Easter Message for each of our Children’s Homes on the importance of Easter and the resurrection of Christ. He will visit each of the homes over the weekend.

Joseph Boikai found the Golden Egg! Daniel questioned if that was his true name since it is the name of the current President of Liberia!! Haha! So he announced, “The President of Liberia has found the Golden Egg”. The children had such a good time playing games that Daniel taught them. They had so much fun racing in sacks.

Daniel grew up in an orphanage, and today, he’s turning that story into something beautiful, reminding these children that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten. This is what Easter is all about!
