Daniel formed a new widows’ group in Bomi County. 42 widows and single mothers came in from three or four nearby villages and met at the Temas Orphanage. They were so very grateful for their bags of rice and oil. This was a first for them! They gathered for a time of thanksgiving prayer.
“Thank you, God, for meeting our need”. We hope to make this a regular monthly distribution in the future.
Our mission remains the same: “to look after orphans and widows in their distress.” This is always our priority, and to which we give the most funding. Wherever possible, we bring in empowerment programs, micro-enterprises, and organic agriculture. God is so faithful.

Widow so grateful for her bag of rice
The Bomi Widows Group will be our 8th group of widows to receive rice each month. This brings our count to over 700 widows in our program! They all leave so refreshed through their fellowship together! This is a time of worship, prayer, and testimonies. It’s also a time to share their needs with their group leaders.
Bomi County also holds a special place in Daniel’s heart. He was born there and spent his early years in the county until his grandmother brought him to a mission orphanage. In the photo, he is standing in front of his late father’s home.
