Kelvin Taweh, the Farm Manager on Provision of Hope’s two-acre property, is making amazing progress! When we visited the farm in January, we were pleasantly surprised by the healthy plants and the wide variety of vegetables and fruits he was growing. Their family of five is able to eat from the farm and sell surplus vegetables at the market.

Kelvin has also started raising chickens and goats. As the farm continues to grow, he may soon need a larger goat pen and a shelter to protect the animals from the rain.

The goats are healthy!
Sarah operates a small charcoal business, purchasing charcoal wholesale from the bush and reselling it in small bags. We recently moved her container shop onto the farm property, where the family also lives in a two-bedroom container home. Living on-site is important for security reasons.
