Tutors are doing a good job

Provision of Hope places a big value on Education for all our children we fund to school.  In each of our Homes we have tutors during the school year.  During the school closures due to covid 19, we had tutors come into the homes, as well as the older children tutoring the younger ones.  This has certainly prepared them to go back to school.  Grades 6-12 are finishing their last school year in their classrooms now.  The younger children have school assignments to do at home.  Some are going back to various class rooms depending on the school. We are anticipating the opening of the regular school year starting in the month of October, if all goes as planned.

This is Otis and Benetta’s tutor teaching Grade 8.

Dabopillar will be in Grade 12 this year. She is teaching the Grade 3 students.

Our students get extra study time with tutors.

Daniel Coleman is in charge of supervising the tutors and checking study class schedules. He is checking in at Otis’ home.

Prince Jaylah is a brilliant Gr. 12 student. He is teaching Science. Prince has always been a good reader and a focused student.

Eric and Kamah’s daughter is starting Gr. 12. She loves tutoring the younger children.

The children love to read. Hopefully we can get more books for both our homes and schools. One of our goals is to ship good books to Liberia in a container. Schools and individuals would donate their books.

We are getting prepared for another school year starting in October.  Students are back in school now writing exams and finishing off their last grade. We hope to be getting report cards soon. We are trusting God for the funds needed to put all our children back to school.
