The Children of Fuamah District in Lower Bong County were excited to see Pastor Malcolm, our Country Director. On December 24th he crossed a dirty brown river in a “leaky” canoe to transport supplies to this needy village. Bless your heart Malcolm! You are one who goes the extra mile!
Both the children and their mothers were happy to receive the clothes, medicines, packs of nutrition, worm medication and fortified cornmeal. One day we hope to dig a well for this community. They drink from this brown river.
The chiefs have already designated a portion of land to plant vegetables and grow moringa. Malcolm will be bringing garden tools and seeds on his next trip. The elderly are asking for medicines too.
The Children are holding up their clothes.
Malcolm is in the midst of the children holding up their Plumpy Nut packages.
Zwana Massaly is a nurse who came with Malcolm to distribute the medications. This is not their first time coming with supplies.
Each household received Fortified Cornmeal.
We made sure Malcolm wore a life jacket.
Malcolm was busy sorting a huge bundle of clothes.
Plumpy Nut is a high-energy peanut paste enriched with vitamins and minerals. It’s designed to treat acute malnutrition.
So many children were treated for boils also for worms.
So many beautiful children in this village.
The mothers were so grateful for all the help.
Hopefully one day this village will have a safer boat.
Thank you to ALL OUR FRIENDS who GIVE TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED!
GOD BLESS YOU!!
