MY FATHER’S HOUSE is buzzing with new activities!
Provision of Hope Team Liberia welcomes Malcolm Harris as our new Youth Director!! He is the overseer of more than 50 young students who are in our care. PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR HIM. Malcolm comes trained in missions and evangelism, having graduated from the Maranatha School of Ministry in Ghana. He has a heart after God and moves led of the Spirit. He leads by example, and has a vision to see our boys become strong Followers of Jesus Christ. Provision of Hope is investing in highschool and university students who are being trained as LEADERS OF INTEGRITY. Our values and goals include:
1. To be a Devoted Follower of Jesus Christ
2. To have a Healthy Self Identity
3. To achieve a Good Education
4. To participate in Work Projects and Contribute to Others
These young leaders are being raised up to fight in the battle for MERCY + JUSTICE. Each one has a story of a very DIFFICULT JOURNEY, making it through 14 years of civil war. These are the leaders who will help rebuild this war torn nation and see a NEW LIBERIA!!
TWENTY NEW STUDENTS have arrived in August and every room is filled in both My Father’s House, The Discipleship Training Center and the nearby apartments that we rent for students. We have had to add to our food supply because of the number of students we are feeding. Jason Nightingale, of Wordsower International is our partner in this work, and provides the funding each month for food! We are still needing funding for school fees next semester. Christmas is coming, at which time we try to give each student 50.00 for new clothes. They all desperately need clothes and shoes! Some of our Calvary Baptist Students in new uniforms, school shoes and book bags. They are very happy to be in highschool again! They all have a dream. I pray they will have the means to accomplish all that they have envisioned. Could you consider sponsoring a student?
