Mother and Daughter need help to go home to Liberia

Korpu and her 5 yr. old daughter are asking us to help her go back home to Liberia to stay.  She has lived in the Buduburam Refugee Camp too long.  No one should have to live in these horrendous conditions. It is my prayer that they will be able to go on the bus that is leaving this coming Friday.  Would someone like to help her get home?   They would get home IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!! She needs $ 800 Canadian, which is  $540 – $ 600  USD.  Korpu has relatives in Liberia who will take her in and care for her once she gets home.  Would anyone like to give $ 50 or $100?  Together we can make this happen!  See the break down below.

In Canadian Funds: Travel Documents  $ 100, Bus Fare for Korpu  $ 300, Bus Fare for Daughter  $ 160,  Transport Goods $240  = 800 CDN

In US Funds:  Travel Documents  $ 75,  Bus Fare for Korpu  $ 200, Bus Fare for Daughter $ 100,  Transport Goods 165.00 = 540.00 USD

Outreach to Bomi County

Daniel Coleman, our Director of Mercy Ministry, recently made a return visit to his birthplace in Bomi County, a place he cherishes and visits whenever he can. On each trip, he personally delivers used clothing, slippers, and rice to the community. They know him by name and are always happy when he visits. In the recent visit, Provision of Hope supported Daniel’s efforts with a small contribution, helping provide flip-flops and used clothing. He’s also brought some treats, such as popcorn,

LIBERIA NEEDS BIBLES

Nothing brings me more joy than giving out Bibles! I know what the Word of God does for me, and I want others to experience the same God encounters that I have experienced while reading my Bible. “The Bible is my source of strength. It is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 It gives me hope and comfort. I get to know God, His character, and His Ways. The Word of Godis alive.
