PLEASE NOTE we are not having our annual WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES in Steinbach this year. We had our 10th walk last year and our fundraising committee decided we would rather have a dinner. This is a better venue to show our updated projects and account to donors the value of their giving.
Every year we fund close to 150 children to school in Liberia. These children would not have the means to pay for their schooling. They are poor or orphaned. There are no free schools in Liberia. Every child must pay, even for shoes and a uniform. If we are going to shift from poverty to sustainability it will require education. I agree with Nelson Mandela when he says ” Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
Please invite others to this event!
