School Fees for All Our Children

Schools  in Liberia are about to open since the Covid Lockdowns. Our children are so excited to be going back to school!  In Liberia, to go to school is considered a “Golden Opportunity”

At Provision of Hope we believe it should be the right for every child to get an Education.  We believe that Education is vital in order to reduce poverty.  We are especially grateful that we can educate girls.  We have girls who we funded through university and today they have degrees in Nursing! They also have jobs!

Our staff have been very busy registering close to 100 children to school.  Fees have gone up again since the pandemic.  Some of the schools are saying that they had to pay their teachers during the closures in order to keep them and therefore are needing more money to run their schools.  All students need to pay to go to school in Liberia. They also need uniforms and black shoes.  Each student needs to pay for his own copy books, pamphlets and text books.

LIBERIA NEEDS BIBLES

Nothing brings me more joy than giving out Bibles! I know what the Word of God does for me, and I want others to experience the same God encounters that I have experienced while reading my Bible. “The Bible is my source of strength. It is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 It gives me hope and comfort. I get to know God, His character, and His Ways. The Word of Godis alive.
