Our widows are so happy to be receiving medical drugs along with their rice, oil and soup seasoning!
This month we were able to give our widows Tylenol and other medications to help them with their arthritic pain and colds etc. We are hoping to do this more often. This is a real need.
Twice per month our widows gather for a time of worship and prayer before they get their bags of rice and go back to their various homes in the community. We have 150 registered on our program in Matadi. Daniel Coleman and his volunteers carefully give out their portions. Each widow leaves encouraged! This has become a close-knit family.
Widows are clapping! So full of joy!!

“I tell God thank you for meeting my needs”
My heart is always touched by these widows. They are always so grateful for any small gift they receive. These are the ones who have suffered through the 14 yrs of civil war. They have watched their loved ones die. They have been there to take care of their families and others in the community. They know hunger and pain. Many have gone to bed hungry in order to let the children eat.
Thank you to our faithful donors who make this work possible. Together we are living out true religion as James 1:27 describes it in The Passion Translation “True spirituality that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans, and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values.”
Our widows pray for you and every day they are thanking God for your kindness!
Thank you Daniel Coleman and Team for how you care for this family of widows. What a blessing you are to them!
God Bless you!
