Princess Kollie comes to live in Ma Esther’s Hope Home!
Let me introduce you to a sweet young girl Princess Kollie. Princess was having pain in her eyes and we were asked if we could take her to an eye clinic. Both her parents are blind. They were so afraid she would also go blind. Our Director of Mercy Ministry, Daniel Coleman took her to the New Sight Eye Clinic where she received the proper examination and treatment. Praise God today her eyes are 98 per cent healed!!
When our staff met Princess and her parents and saw their conditions they were very concerned about Princess’ safety and that she is too vulnerable leading her blind parents around on the streets. We had a meeting with her parents, and with John and Korpu who now run Ma Esther’s Home and we all agreed that it would be advisable that Princess come to live with them!
Princess is now in school, in Gr. 4 and her parents are so happy for their daughter’s new home. They have come to visit and of course they will come again. Provision of Hope is all about keeping families together and encouraging strong family relationships.
I’m sure you are asking the same questions I asked, ” Who will now be the eyes for these blind parents” They have a nephew who will do that. We are planning to empower them with a small business, so they do not have to go begging for food.
If anyone would like to sponsor Princess we would invite you to partner with us.

John and Korpu now have 11 children living with them. They have adjusted well to parenting a larger family and teaching them so many life skills. They are excellent care givers. John has been teaching the children how to garden and Korpu teaches them how to bake and cook. Each child has chores to do to help in the home. They are all learning to be responsible. They are all trained in Godly character and integrity. Keep them in your prayers.
