Christmas is a time we love to celebrate the birth of Jesus! We love to have festive food and gifts for each other!
So many in Liberia this year are hungry and with little food. Prices have escalated! Many have no jobs! I know what a food package can do for someone like Teta Joe!
I love to see the smiles on the faces of our children, when they get a wrapped gift. The shouts of joy when they see a brand new shirt, or a new pair of shoes!!
Would you like to join us to BRING A GIFT OF HOPE to someone in need this Christmas?
A Food Package for a widow brings so much joy! We can buy a lot of food for $ 50 – $ 100
Teta Joe works hard at her charcoal business. She sells it by the small bag. Today she needs more charcoal in bulk to break up to sell. $ 150 would give her months of charcoal to provide for her food and medicines.
Grandma Martha is left with two grand daughters to raise. She works hard to provide food from her little stand at the market selling palm nuts for little income. This photo shows her food package. $ 150 would buy her more palm nuts.
Grandma Gertrude sells at a market stand. She supplies food for her daughter and grandchildren. Empowerment for market stands $ 150 – $ 300.
Ottis Dyega’s Home is in need of bunk beds and new mattresses for their single beds.
Help someone who is sick this Christmas. $ 100 and up depending on the sickness. We are always called on to help meet medical needs.
We hope to provide a “wrapped” gift of New Clothes for each one of our Children $ 30
Salome lives in Eric and Kamah’s Home. She has a sponsor who funds her school. $ 300 for tuition. School supplies $ 20 for black shoes, $ 25 uniform, $15 Book Bag, $ 5 Copy Books and pens.
This Grandma is too poor to put her grandchildren to school. We paid for their first semester. Hopefully we can continue.
Each Christmas we like to buy good used clothes in bundles. These bundles are huge! We buy two for each home. One for the boys and one for the girls. $ 250 per bundle.
We are in need of more seeds and garden tools since we expanded our Organic Agriculture. Seeds cost $ 30 – $ 50 per can.
We have several single mothers on our program. Although they have been empowered for small business they struggle to pay their rent. Room rent for one year ranges from $ 180 – $ 420
Let’s Bring a Gift of HOPE to someone in need this Christmas!
It is your donations that make all this possible!! Thank you so much!!
