It’s time to make honorable mention of the kinds of leaders we are raising in our Children’s Homes in Liberia!
In this blog post we will honor Samuel Kennedy and Henry Forkpa who live in Ma Esther’s Home. Samuel is the founder and coach of the Power from God Football Team. Henry is the founder and leader of United Youth for Positive Change. Teil Cummings lives in Eric and Kamah’s home and deserves honorable mention since he just graduated from Gr. 12. These sons are all forth coming Leaders of Integrity. They have a huge influence among their teenage friends and in their community. They are reaching out to others with a positive impact to live for God and contribute to society. We need our youth to stand for social justice like these guys do. The parents in our homes deserve a standing ovation for the biggest contribution in who these young men are today! Well done parents!! YOU ARE MAKING SUCH A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF YOUR CHILDREN!!
Henry Forkpa is John & Korpu’s son. They are the parents in Ma Esther’s Home. Henry ranked first in his class with an overall average of 89 percent. His dad John has a BA in Education and is the master tutor in this home. Thanks John Kucuyoiyoigee!
Samuel Kennedy came to live in Ma Esther’s Home several years ago. He has no living parents. Samuel is a young man of integrity. He is very trustworthy and leads by example. He is a sharp student and very talented.
Samuel is coach and founder of the Power from God Football Team. We call it soccer. Samuel is No. 7. They have been playing for over one year now.
Teil Cummings we celebrate with you!! Congratulations for finishing strong!!
Eric Gbour you are one of the best dads in all of Liberia. You love each child like your very own! You are turning out so many strong young men and woman who know Jesus through your love and example. You work so hard to help your family! Your reward in heaven will be great!!
Henry is the Leader and Founder of United Youth for Positive Change. He is teaching youth the value of Godly Principles and Godly Character.
Samuel knows the power of prayer and is strong in his faith. He’s a born leader!
Provision of Hope just bought the team a set of Jerseys for $ 86 US plus 2 soccer balls for $ 20 each. They were so thrilled!! They never had team shirts before.
Thank you Daniel Coleman for representing Provision of Hope at Teil’s Graduation! You attend so many grads on your own initiative because you carry the heart of our children! You show you care!
Kamah ( in the yellow top) just like you are standing behind Teil in this photo, you stand behind him to encourage and inspire him to reach his highest potential. You are a star! You are one outstanding mother to many!! God is so pleased with all you do behind the scenes to better the lives of these children who have come from desperate situations. Good job!!
