Two Children Needing Care

What a sad day for Malvine and his little sister Sharley! They just lost their mother! Now they have no parents!

Provision of Hope was just notified about another two children who are left without parents.  Their father died several years ago and now their mother just died. Their mother is the sister of Ruth Gbah the wife of Roger.  We helped the Gbah Family move from a remote area of Liberia to the city of Buchanan where their children could attend school. I first met Roger ( Sunnyboy) back in 2010 when he had a serious injury to his hand. A missionary nurse contacted us telling us of this emergency! Roger was rushed to hospital and through the help of Provision of Hope he had the surgery needed to save his hand! He says as long as he lives he will never forget our kindness.  In 2021, Roger reconnected with me on Facebook.  They had been praying and fasting asking God for help!  Finally their prayers were answered.

Roger and Ruth are wanting to take these children into their home. They asked if Provision of Hope could provide mattresses for them. I’m sure they need clothes as well.  Roger and Ruth already have a family of 4 on a very low income.  They work hard at their micro businesses trying to provide for their family. It’s often very challenging. Ruth sells plastic dishes and Roger sells jeans at their little market shop.  They received a micro loan through Provision of Hope.  This has been a big help for them. Roger and Ruth are close neighbors to Ottis and Benetta Dyega. They join in for family devotions and helping where they are needed.  If anyone would want to donate towards the needs of Sharley and Malvine it would be a huge blessing!

Sharley is 11 years old. She lived with her mother in Bong County where she was attending school. Sharley is 11 years old. She lived with her mother in Bong County where she was attending school.
